Massage is
well known for its ability to lessen stress and promote relaxation and is
the perfect compliment to fitness and recreational activities. It improves
cardiovascular and immune systems, helps eliminate toxins in the bloodstream
and increases the entire body's flexibility. Before exercise, massage helps
prevent injury and muscle fatigue. After exercise, it speeds up the release
of lactic acid and the accompanying soreness from muscles.
The general
scope of Patty's practice is preventive and restorative massage therapy and
bodywork emphasizing and fostering increased muscular skeletal flexibility,
the healing process of injuries, increased circulation, stress management
and general health and relaxation.
